ATMs up to

I had to deposit some money and using the ATMs are cheaper. So I went to the Cresta branch to find that out of the 7 or 8 machines, only 3 can take deposits. The que was long as everybody had to do deposits. So my turn comes and all goes well. Except that the machine does not want to accept the new Mandela notes. I tried a few times and every time it returns them. That was probably the cause while the que was so long. Everybody tried multiple times to deposit. So I left and managed to return the next day with old notes. This time two of the three did not accept notes. And I could see how the people are not succeeding in depositing new notes.

The new money has been around for a while now. Why does your machines not accept them.
