Recently I started having issues with my Absa bank account. I received the worst service from them ever, following that I then changed from Absa to FNB. Simple. I will not tolerate poor customer service.

Yesterday 6/02/2013 whilst changing banking details and such I was called by Buhle, she has horrible telephone skills and very simply told me: 'sorry, your account is in arrears, you have to pay manually, we will not setup the debit order on your new account so we can be paid'. So Standard bank does not want to take the premium off for the use of a service? She did not even take into account that I have had service issues with Absa hence the debit orders not going off as they should.

She then put the phone down.

I called the number back with no success and ended up calling the credit card division, I made arrangements with them and they re-instated my debit order. I also increased my monthly payments. All is well.

Today 7/02/2013. Cleo calls me from the same number as Buhle, ABSOLUTELUY DISGUSTING TELEPHONE SKILLS! Do you not train these people Standard Bank? Do you not screen your staff? I want a standard bank representitive to call me ASAP. Next account closed is this one.
