Unauthorised debit orders and no sms notification

I have a standard bank account and have recently been a victim of unauthorised debits, what irritates the most is that standard bank promises that you will receive notification on any activity happening on your account. This is misleading the trust of the customer, with all the unauthorised debits I never received any notification and I would like to understand why and what is it that standard bank is doing to ensure that customers get their money back instead of charging you to get the information about the company that they allow without being cautious, these complains are raised daily about the same companies over and over, when will standard act against this. I managed to reverse some of them and I think Satandard bank should take responsibility for this since I was not alerted.
