I reported my daughter's lost/ cell phone on the 23 Jan. The incident happened at her school.
No response from iDirect was received or feedback on the progress of the claim. I had to phone in several times. Every time there is something else I need to provide .. ITC number, police case number. Two weeks later and no resolution.
More phone calls, more excuses such as waiting for quotes from suppliers. Today they gave another excuse - they want to check what the school policy is with regards to cell phones at the school. They are obviously looking for reasons to reject the claim. Unfortunately for them, the school policy is that cell phones are allowed but must remain switched off during class.
So lets see what is the next lame excuse. I can't wait to cancel my policy.
