First National Bank
Stained R100 Note

Business & Finance

On the 29 January 2014 at 06:40 I withdrew R200 from an FNB ATM at Melrose Arch. I received 2 R50 rand Notes and one R100 Note. I saw that the R100 note has some blue stain but i did not think anything of it until I tried using it that afternoon and no one wanted to take it.

I went to the Branch and told them what happened and they also refused to take the money. They took my details and said they will call me after they do an Investigation. This is very embarrassing for me and even after I showed them the sms stating that I withdrew money from their ATM's. On top of that they wanted the slip which the machine did not print and my bank card.

Someone needs to look into this. We trust our Banks the last thing I need is for people to make me feel like I am a for my own money that they provided. PLEASE HELLLPPP!!!
