Outsurance
R400 Campaign is a joke

After seeing the R400 campaign whereby if Outsurance can't beat your current premium costs, Outsurance will pay you R400.
The Terms and Conditions state that if you've had a quote from Outsurance within the last 6 months, you do not qualify for the R400
Whilst I have no major issue with this, Outsurance should highlight these obvious terms and conditions in their advertising campaign.
I also want to mention that it took 3 people to eventually explain this to me. The first two salespersons made no mention of this but rather said that they would e-mail me a link where I can upload my existing policy as proof that I had a better deal with another insurance company. When said link did not arrive, I called a 5th time and was put through to a manager who explained this condition to me. She accepted that this was a breakdown in communication and apologised many times. Outsurance should make this more clear in their advertising and make sure their sales staff explain it from the very beginning instead of going through the entire process and wasting my time.
