Risk to customers while Transacting

On the 27th January 2014, went to the Caltex garage, Prince George St, Brenthurst, Brakpan, next to the bridge towards Wright Park suburb. Time at 20hr45. Absa atm machine is attached to Caltex garage shop, that opens 24hrs. next to the Atm is displayed operation time for the Absa atm. Closure is stated as 23hr00.The steel door rolls down or is suppose to roll down at 23hr00.But this is not what is happening. I was still at the atm at about 20hr45, busy transacting when the steel door started rolling down. I got shocked, tried to cancel transaction but door was coming down and had to make way before getting crushed or trapped in there. Could not cancel transaction or get my card out. Ran to the Caltex guys inside the shop, was told there is nothing they could do. must wait for re-opening time at about 5hr30 next morning or phone Absa to cancel my card. Risk of getting hurt, loss of money & costs to re-issue cards involved. This can be avoided. advertise the correct shut down time or garage staff must warn us not to use Atm at 20hr45.had to pay R65.00 for new card. Is the time 23hr00 or 20hr45 for this atm to close?
