Sunday I drove to the nearest caltex to refuel because I am a ucount member. when wanting to pay and after several attempts, the machine declined. the attendant said i should draw money at the absa atm. I refused as I wasn't willing to forfeit my ucount points and pay the additional bank fee. He then suggested I go to a nearby bp garage that also belonged to the same owner or have my tank drained... I then said that they should rather drain so that I could go to another caltex garage. he then refused saying that the draining machine is also at the bp garage. at this point he publicly accused me of having insufficient funds and that he'll report me to police. I eventually gave in and the attendant and I drove to bp where the transaction was "approved". at the end of the day, it cost me my ucount points and the additional trip to the bp as well as my dignity! this is unacceptable! I was very offended and embarrassed by his attitude and remarks!
