I'm building a home and had to wait 7 months for FNB to make the first payment - sorting out all their admin. I've requested the second payment the first week of December 2013 as I need to pay the builders (before Christmas). It is today the 28 January 2014 and no payment yet. The builders is walking off site (again). This was a 4 month project, but due to FNB's lack of commitment or lack of knowledge we are on 9 months already! Extra charges exceeds R200 000 caused DIRECTLY by FNB's delays. FNB is worse than any government department disregarding their clients financials and needs. Can't wait to change.
