Loan switched refusing to allocate funds to loan

I switched my MFC vehicle finance to FNB as I am a FNB customer. FNB settled the loan but MFC failed to allocate these funds to the outstanding balance as they say it had the incorrect reference no. I have emailed them numerous copies of the proof of payment and have spoken to their incompetent, arrogant call centre on a number of occasions. Apparently there is no one that can do a simple allocation of funds, they have subsequently transferred the cash to their sundry account. This process has been ongoing for a few weeks. To make matters worse MFC is still charging me interest and deducting the installments from my account.
So MFC has the cash, proof of payment yet refuses to settle the loan. There is no competent staff to contact and this just drags on.
I am very disappointed with MFC and will do my best to convince, not that I need to, everyone I know how useless they are.

I will also send a formal letter to the ombudsman should this not be resolved in the next day.
