Oakhurst Insurance
So glad I cancelled my Oakhurst policy

About a year ago I brought a car and accepted a policy from Oakhurst via [URL Removed] I cancelled my policy about 2months after I signed because of their bad reputation, as somebody warned me against them, so I decided to cancel the policy. A friend of mine continued with his policy, and he recently had a claim for an accident that was not his fault. Oakhurst tried every dirty trick in the book not to pay the claim. Eventually after 2 months they agree to pay, but be careful, the access in VERY VERY high, for various reasons/excuses. They also did not cover certain parts as it is accessories, however they never disclosed it when they inspected the car. They have send the car to the cheapest panel beater. What a shock when the car was so called repaired. Bad spray work, not aligning the bonnet, some of the so called new parts wasn't even properly fitted... Shocking to say the least..! But I guess that what you get if you use the cheap guys...

This is a warning to all the people out there, a cheap insurance is an expensive one. stay away from Oakhurst!!!
