African Bank
PAYING THE COST FOR MORE THAN 12 YEARS

I number of years ago, I had loans with African Bank and landed in a bad patch financially. I have been paying off on these small loans for more than 12 years, one being a deduction on my salary at the bank and the other through a collection firm know as Hugo and Ngwenya. I made payments again at the end of December only to be informed that Hugo and Ngwenya no longer deal with the African Bank accounts. No notification of this was sent to me and I have no idea if the monies I paid over to them will be forwarded to African bank. In the meantime, I have a listing on ITC for more than 12 years already and not able to acquire any credit, not buy a car on my name, not even take out a cellphone contract. I am paying the cost in more than 1 way. My query:
1. The monies paid over to Hugo and Ngwenya, will this be reallocated to African Bank?
2. Who is dealing with my account now?
3. Why and can they keep me black listed for more than 12 years whilst I am paying them back? Is this legal?
4. How much monies have they in fact collected from me as I NEVER get any account statements?
I need and WANT answers now. Not happy anymore and will approach the Banking Ombid if this is not sorted out!
