Continued bad service to customer of 15 years

On Saturday, my wife and I went to the Century City Std Bank Branch and got their only consultant - Mrs Du Preez - to see us.

We told her that my wife is from Malaysia and that we need the record of her Co-signing Power for her Spousal Visa Renewal.

She immediately questioned me as to why the address on my account had not been updated - and I pointed out that I have tried to change this address Numerous times at Thibault square with proof of address, and every time it is never updated on the national system. No apology forthcoming.

Then she questioned my wife as to whether her Spousal Visa was still valid, and I repeated to her that we need this paperwork to complete the Spousal Visa Renewal. Insulting to say the least to a skilled professional.

After all this, she said that she has no record on the system of my wife's co-signing ability, even if she has her own card for the account, and that we would need to get a proof of residence to even submit an application.

I pleaded with her to contact the Thibault Square branch for proof or get authorisation - from anyone -but she said that "could take time" and that it "would not help"

Need to look elsewhere for better service now.
