Car being fixed now forced to return car hired

Some time in November I was caught in a flash flood and damaged the engine of my car. The car is being fixed at Lyndhurst BMW and will be ready by the 3rd of February. The policy I took with auto and general is that of a car option while I'm waiting for my car to be fixed. Now, I received a call from one of their agents that I need to return the car ASAP as they have given me more than enough time with the car. I feel this is not fair at all as I'm being dumped by them without any care if I have any mode of transportation. On top of that I have to pay an inflated excess of R18000.00 based on information I made in error and came back to them to correct it instead of the agreed R4500 in the contract. The correction I gave them was disregarded and calculations were made on the statement made in error. I am one unhappy customer and would never have taken this insurance had I known I'll be treated in this manner. I would maybe understand if I had skipped any of my premiums or something. But none of that happened. I'm truly unhappy with this company. I've had many of my acquaintances questioning me on why I went with them; now I understand. PLEASE HELP!
