What can I say that I'm utter disapointed in the way that FNB work when it comes to cheque depositing. I was just taked for a sucker regarding cheque. Long story shord I sold something over the internet and the amount was deposited into my account, showing that the amount was in my account. I ask you for the love of... why the when a cheque is deposited at a ATM do they send you a SMS conferming the amount has been deposited into your acount, when in fact the cheque still has 7 day proses to go through before its cleared. Why don't you receive the SMS when the amount is confirmed and sure its in your account. Yes I'm to blame for this, but I'm also blaming FNB for my loss, due to give information that it was in my account and also when I wanted to check this the call center was closed. If I only new it took 7 days to clear a cheque that has been deposited at a ATM this wouldn't of happend. I think depositing cheques at a ATM is utter!!
