I have just opened up a standard bank elite account, with my other banks i never had to set any limit when it came to internet banking, they had an average limit set already and i could change them when i wanted. I went to collect my card from standard bank and was not told anything about what needed to be done, it was there is your card goodbye, i get back to work which is 20km from the nearest bank and tried to set up internet banking and it failed, when i phone the mall the guy said it was easy to do, he told me to phone the internet banking and they would be able to set a limit it for me, i then phoned them and guess what i was told to go to the branch again. This is suppose to be SIMPLER, BETTER and FASTER should be DUMB, DUMBER and CONFUSED, i dont have time to get to the bank and it's costed me a flippen trip for absolutely nothing. So sad when companies dont live up to their names and motto's, but are happy to take your money.
