VERY HIGH Bank Charges & Interest Rates

Its Over 10years im with ABSA Bank, but in need of a change.
Firstly, The Bank Charges are ridiculously high. At present i have a silver package cheque account the fixed charge is plus/minus R100, But I pay close to R300 a month on charges. I'm looking for a bank that says the Charge is R100 and there are no extra or hidden costs. I never expected to pay such a hefty amount.
I cancelled my ABSA rewards, because I was paying more for the subscription fee and earning less in cashback
My Motor Vehicle Loan was at a high interest rate, now I have my second vehicle at prime minus 2% and they wouldn't even give my husband and I a Full Home Loan on our first House purchased, we had to go to another bank, yet we have an excellent credit history. Whose fooling who here? I'm not desperate, 2014 time for change.
