When I was granted a loan from ABSA on a house that was still to be built ABSA life contacted me for life insurance on the house well knowing that it will take time for it to be completed and to be registered on my name before the policy will be active. Yesterday I received an sms stating that the policy will be cancelled seeing that the property is not registered in my name. The house was only signed on in Dec 13 for completion and is in the process of registration. ABSA already waited six months why now suddenly cancelling the policy as it will be registered in a few days. Now I need to apply again. Believe me if this is not reinstated I will take my business elsewhere. Why would I re apply after going through this bad experience?
