Sluggish response during my bereavement time

I have a funeral cover with FNB, I got a letter a year or so ago that stated that FNB and liberty are working together in this regard. On the 8th of December my dad past on. On the 11th of December 2013 I called Liberty and was advised to go to an FNB branch to fill in all required documentation, of which I did at MAPONYA Mall. A week past by without response, I then called Liberty which shockingly said they had not received any documentation. I went back to MAPONYA mall FNB and the lady Tsholofelo Matekane who assisted me initially re faxed and was also surprised that I did not get any response. It was a sad time in my life and I was the one doing all the driving and phoning with Iiberty telling me it's an FNB matter and FNB telling me it's a Liberty matter. The bottom line is that I find it very unfair to be caught in between company politics/ merges/ agreements. All I did every month was to pay my installment without fail. After all the calls, driving, emails the money was only paid at 4:30 PM after the funeral. I regret taking this policy with FNB/ Liberty because it brought me more grief than pleasure. I felt like people there cared less about my situation. Still upset
