On the first of February i was shocked to find out that my accounts had been debited a month after my retrenchment claim was approved. The contract clearly states that the insurance would pay for 6 months, I called the office and no one could help me to explain. This is a huge burden on me as I am not working and had left it to be paid by the insurance claim and this has affected payment on my other commitment as this debit order had not been budgeted for. Can someone please explain how this happens as i was under the impression that the claims department and the billing department would communicate, clearly there is no communication. All I am asking is for the money to be credited as this is seriously disadvantaging me big time and also considering that the monthly installment has a portion that covers insurance for such incidences. I fell betrayed by Direct Axis
