Query about my refund

I took out a life policy with alllife after that it was approved an deduction was made from my account, sometime in october i received a call confirming that they won't be able to cover me again cause I had an eye operation that the DR suspects it was cancer but still deduction was made into my account so I ask the lady who called if I was going to received my refund cause I ddnt cancelled the policy they did an the lady told me that someone from the finance dept wl contact me, when I receive the call they told me to write a letter to. Cancell the policy then I refuesed cause I knew it was not me who cancelled but them and they will use the letter in order not to refund me and claim that I cancelled then the lady who called me said they wl call me back but never received any call or my refund.
