Interest Rate discrepancy

Our home loan was approved by Standard Bank, we received a quote and accepted. We went to go and sign the documents at the lawyer's today and the contract from the bank had a 0, 5% discrepancy with the quote?? Now we are renting a property and when the lawyers called us to sign documents we gave our 2 months notice!! The contract was sent back to the bank for ammendment but this can take up to 10 days!!! By that time the lawyers will have closed for Christmas!! Now we can only sign docs in January, and the house will only register in Feb!! We need to be out of our current home by end Jan! The occupational rent is quite a bit more than our bond repayment, which we have not budgeted for!! Also I phoned the call centre to escelate the ammendment, only to be told that they will not be able to help me!!! I am frustrated that the bank's mistake is costing us money!!! So unfair!!! I wonder how many people they do this to, and they jyst sign the docs because they do not notice the discrepancy!!??
