Premiums not making sense

In 2012 I was paying R1525.41 for my car insurance, this was inclusive of car hire, in September 2012 I lost my job and made arrangements with Miway to change my cover, indeed it was done and I paid R248.83. when I got a job in February 2013 I informed MiWay and my cover was changed back to comprehensive and my premium increased to R1653.58 per month (Policy schedule dated 21 Feb 2013) and now with the annual review, my premium has increased to R1654.58.

I only notice today that since the year began, Car hire was removed from my policy, nobody told me and even worse, instead of decreasing the premiums since there is no car hire, they increased (drastically). I mean R1525.41 pm including car hire to R1654.58 pm excluding car hire???

Is this a rip of or what???

Maybe its time to change insurance...
