They dont care about paying customers

I am very dissappointed in the service I received from African Bank, I have been their customer for years and never defaulted once on my accounts with you, today I call your office to get a special settlement (Discount) on my accounts as I am intending settling them in full because I have resigned from my work and will not have money to meet my monthly obligations, i was told that discounts are only given to accounts that are with Legal where the customer had defaulted so I am asking, should I first default for you to give me a discount? cant you look at the conduct of my accounts as a basis of giving me a discount? Am I not important because I pay?
