I used the services offered from standard bank life even though the price of the product was more expensive than others in the market place I felt a sense of security using a reputable service provider, however all this changed when I decided to cancel my policies as the cost was now becoming too high I was told to send a written notice which I did ever since that (August 2013) the company continues to debit my account I have made calls to them approximately 4 their consultants are understanding they requested bank statements to verify the debits I was assured of cancellation but still no such luck.
I finally contacted the service provider on the (02 December 2013) and gave them an option to resolve my issue or else I would report them to the insurance ombudsman as well as put them on hello peter but it seems they really don't care as there has been nothing done except more bank statements being requested I guess if I fail to pay on an existing policy they will pick that up but when taking my money for a service they no longer provide it's up to me to do all the leg work.
