DEBIT ORDER STOPPED BUT STILL DEBITING

I placed a STOP ORDER for King Price to stop debiting my account online on 29 November 2013 as I have changed my Insurance Company and notified them as well. King Price still debited my account on the 3 December 2013. What is the point in paying a bank for a STOP ORDER which does not work!
