To whom it may concern,

i called miway on the 22nd to cancel my policy & i was informed that only a retentions consultant can assist. today its a week later & i haven't heard from them until i phoned them.
guess what i get, consultants who are not even sure of what is noted in RE (yet they claim to be RE compliant) & neither can they understand a simple FAIS act.
i want my policy cancelled as from 30/11/2013 so as to avoid having dual insurance & Azia & Clement are telling me that they policy terms & conditons can't allow for such a thing.
i referred them to RE & FAIS act inwhich they said FAIS act allows them to do so.

i have checked the FAIS ACT & it states the following :

20 (a)(I):- Client voluntarily terminates agreement
The FSP is obliged to immediately terminate the financial services agreement with the client if the voluntarily requests this.

i want this policy cancelled as of 30/11/2013 & my premiums for December refunded asap.
