Unscrupulous debt collection

I owed Medihelp R1005.85.Was contacted by Snyman in May 2010. Agreed to pay them R50 per month which I duly did, and eventually increased it to R100 per month. I subsequently sent them an e-mail in June 2012 querying the outstanding balance&was told it was R762. I queried the legal costs added to my account Ias quite clearly this is ludicrous in view of the fact that I was never sent a statement etc. OIasked whether this interest could be written off - I am still waiting a response. It is now November 2013 and have ever received a reply to that e-mail. Yet I still continue to receive sms' from Creditworx intermittently (every 2 months or so) saying this is my last chance to contact them as my account will be handed over for legal action. Surely this should've happened if what they are doing is above board by now. The last sms received said my account is being prepped for legal action. Its funny how I have received no calls or statements from Medihelp with regard to their outstanding account, because quite clearly it has been paid up. Creditworx is illegally inflating their fees and harassing clients. I will not pay you any legal fees as they are ridiculously inflated so off
