My WW credit card had on it. Called to cancel the card. The at ABSA cancelled ALL cards. Then wanted to charge me a fee to reinstate them. Eventually got them re issued. At the bank collecting the card, I asked the lady if they were working, and if I needed to activate it? No. OK. I tried to use the cards - not working. I call the call center, go through the pa-lava of entering all the numbers in the world, only to get another incompetent person who says I need to talk to another department, only to get transferred BACK to the original place. Long story short I have to go into the branch to sort this out. Can they not train their staff correctly? EVERY person there knows nothing. It is a fight all the time. At the branch is a stupid take-a-number system, that took me 2 HOURS to go through. This is infuriating! And they wonder why people change from them? I am highly disgusted at ever staff members bad attitude of take it or leave it. Nobody knows what to do or how to help you!! My advice - change from ABSA ASAP and never use them!
