Unauthorised insurance added to my car payments

I did not authorize this "added"? R650 insurance to my vehicle re-payment; surely Wesbank is in conflict with the consumer act. When I phoned Wesbank to query the increase the call center agent, Shareen Smith, communicated that Wesbank's "outsourced agent" tried to get hold of me to request my insurance details via SMS (wrong cell phone number to start with). She also indicated that they sent me a letter to my physical address not Postal. Conveniently they couldn't get hold of me so Wesbank added insurance. It is pathetic that you can send my statements to my postal address but when you want to make extra money you unable to get hold of me.

Firstly, why after 3 years since this contract commenced would you question if I have insurance when I did proof I have when I took ownership of my vehicle. Secondly my insurance is done through FNB (same company). Thirdly I've got a long standing track record with Wesbank without any risk & financial security incidents ever.

This incident has left a tarnished taste in my mouth and I expect all my money back with an apology.
