WRITTEN OFF ACCOUNT

I had a cheque account with FNB they i moved to another bank. I had an outstanding amount of 1650.00.I paid the amount on the 18/11/13 becuase I was told I cannot open a cheque account due to outstanding bal. Yesterday I got a call from Katlego in centurion branch saying that the written off status of 1650.00 cannot be cleared because is a write off and I cannot get cheque acc.because I m still owing wesbank. I made arrangement to pay wesbank every month as a result I dont understand why I was not told about wesbank initially and secondly why I was told to pay the outstanding balance if it cannot be cleared? I m very disappointed with FNB, I have been denied cheque acc as if I apply for a credit card. It is unaccepatable for me. Please FNB Iwill appreciate if you can clear the amount off and change my account to cheque acc. I did paid this amount because i want cheque acc and no one has ever told me about wesbank. I am so disappointed. Please educate your staff on things that cannot be cleared by your systems
