LUDICROUSLY slow home loan approval time

I cannot believe how slow FNB are at approving home loans. I moved my accounts to FNB last year and so far have thought they are great, but now I am ready to leave them. All financial were with FNB two weeks ago. Send Offer to Purchase on a house last week Friday 25 Mar at 8am.
It is now Wed afternoon five and a half days' later and I have heard NOTHING - and there is not when a sniff of an valuator going out to the house!! I cannot believe it!! SERIOUSLY???!! How long can people expect to wait after signing an Offer to Purchase on a house for it to be accepted? Standard Bank would have pre-approved the bond and had the valuator out the day after receiving the OTP.

You are falling VERY short as far as home loans go. Would have loved to have my home loan with my own bank but it looks like I am going to have to go elsewhere.
