In November my account has been debited 4 times for monies less than R100, when calling to find out who these people are I am given contact numbers to find out for myself and am told that I had been reckless with my banking details. Upon asking why these debits were not properly communicated Im told that the amounts are not significant and therefore they dont need to confirm such debits. Clearly customers are not important here as I am supposed to pay for the bank to stop these debit orders from going through, so in other words I must pay for their negligence and still bank with them, I guess its time one starts thinking about banking elsewhere. So I must do my own security checks whilst conveniently from my account because the bank feels its not a significant amount! Guess there's no point in banking with a bank that doesnt value you as a customer! Im very angry and frustrated as I really thought highly of FNB only to be disappointed by their terms and service.
