"De-Registered Company" re AMS (liquidated)

Business & Finance

Our housing bond was re-registered in 2007 under a "Property Structure Finance Plan" as EAGLE CREEK INVESTMENTS 431 (PTY) LTD by Asset Management Specialists (AMS) (Pty) Ltd. which was - according to newspaper reports - liquidated in 2008. In a telephone conversation from ABSA Head Office I was told that the Bond would be re-registered in our name, a new Bond account number as well as the monthly installment was given. This was duly deducted and paid and stopped end-2012 in order to get some clarity as numerous e-mails via the ABSA website, calls to their Head Office, visits to the Adderley- and Strand Street Branches just cannot provide clarity in this regard. Soon after stopping monthly payments an ABSA Representative visited to inquire about the outstanding amount. I've explained our situation, showed him the documents in my possession and requested the name (s) of the Bank's Attorneys in order to transfer the Bond back into our names. His promise in this regard is also still awaited! We are now really becoming desperate as we're not getting younger, are both still working, and want to settle this unpleasantness once and for all as we don't want to be kicked out of the house
