My vehicle, financed with SBSA, was written off on 10th October. The account is also under debt review. While trying to get the correct settlement amount out of them I picked up that there were massive inconsistencies on the account; additional 'service fees', exorbitant additional interest and debits that had no explanation. To date I have communicated with Debt review admin, Legal, Complaints; where a 'senior consultant' by the name of Renaldo told me to contact VAF as it was "their baby"??? VAF Claims and VAF Payments. I eventually did my own recons on the statements and pre-agreement info and sent it through, 28th October. I am still waiting for Standard Bank to reply to my queries!! There is a complete lack of communication and information sharing and a general attitude of they don't give a! SBSA is the WORST service provider I've ever had to deal with and when this account is done and settled one day I will NEVER use their facilities again, ever. Not even the freaking ATM's...
