Bad service

Business & Finance

I Abigail went on 2 nov 2013 to FNB at garden route mall. I needed to withdraw R1700 from my father's account which I have signing power of. I had my ID, my father's card and pin. The teller said even though they could see that I have signing power that I should first get a secondary card for myself and can't use my father's card for that. She sent me to another que where they would issue a card. That que was very slow and so I went back to the teller and ask to speak to a manager. I told them that I needed to be at another bank before it closes. I also told them that there is a lady working there (FNB) that knows me and could testify that I'm legit. They ignored me. After a while they asked me for prove of my residential address before they could issue me the card. I told them it is my father's account; why would they need my details? They said that I go to my bank to get the details. I told them it's too far and I'm in a hurry. I asked if I could get that info from Mr Price, but they told me that wouldn't work since Mr Price's details will not be on A4 paper. After half an hour they finally withdraw the funds. The end result was that I could'nt catch the other bank open
