Money not reflecting in other bank account

On 18/10/2013 my fianc? paid money over from his Capitec account to my Absa account. Up to date it is still not showing. If he goes to the branch they say he must be patient it will show. It has been more than a week now and still nothing is showing. How can this be. He drew a statement to and it showed that the money was paid over.
