2 weeks and two days ago (5 Oct 2013-23 Oct 2013), someone cloned my card and took R2000 out of my account. Called Standard bank and said they will stop the card and do an investigation and get back to me. They have not called me or gotten back to me. I went to the police station the same day my money got taken out. They told me to also give my case number to Standard bank so they can do the investigation together. Std bank told me no they don't need it and said they will call me. Sent a complaint through as well and they did nothing about it. I called up the shopping center where they took my money out and asked if they can look on the camera to see if we could find the person, I was informed that they do not have cameras up at the ATM!!! Customer service is shocking as well as the safety of our ATM's and bank accounts.
I will NOT stop fighting this, I will take it as far as I can and make sure I get back what is rightfully mine. I have been told that FNB is the best and can change me over to them in 10min, as said in there adverts.
