I file a insurance claim for my digital camera. I extra insured it which was deducted from my policy for the camera. It was damaged and I filed a claim. I insured it for R8000 and at the time Iwize never asked which model it was. Now that I want to claim they just want to give the next model in line. I asked why cant I get replacement for the amount covered which they just refused. I asked them then to pay me the cover amount out and I will just pay in to get a camera then of my choice, they said they will supply me qoutes which will be better than what I can get cameras for as they purchase a lot of cameras from the supplier and will get good discount, this is not the case. The qoutes send was only amounts no more detail not professional at all, and was more expensive than what I can get cameras for. I asked the last two days for Merlin to contact me and the agent Ephraim Nkosi said she is busy she will call me back what client service is this? until now I was not called back and they proceed with the claim. I emailed them to follow up I contact them but no response from Merlin. Poor poor service, where is client service why cant they pay my amount to me???
