I am handed over to attorneys, and can do nothing

I am overdue with my overdraft, due that i had no job for 5 months, i did go to the branch and tried to make arrangements, with no helping hand, i really don't know why they say come talk to the bank for help, i did not receive any, the 2 time i went, no help, no body that talked to me, to what can happen, no ideas to what i can do, nothing, now i am handed over, i have to sign a contract, which i do not understand, with all the interests and what else they put on top of it, i started a new job 4 months ago, and as you can imagine i have a lot of fires to blow out, i payed the last 2 months my overdraft, and went today to the bank again in no positive outcome, nobody can help me, as i am handed over, now i have to pay the attorneys an amount, plus all their cost, i feel that i would rather pay that amount into my overdraft account every month, but i have not option, i do not feel this is right, can somebody please look into this for me.
