I had a loan with FNB which I paid off in full as a settlement. I am yet to receive a "Paid off Letter" or anything indicating that I have paid them in full. I have been listed on the ITC and I cannot make any sort of application because of this. Everytime I call in, I spend no less than 20 minutes in finding someone relevant to speak with, futhermore the information I get is never consistant. Depending on who I speak with, I will be told something different. They seem not to know who does what and when. The people that answer the phones are rude and have no or little telephone etiquette. I paid FNB off so that I have nothing to do with them but it seems that they want to keep a long strainous relationship with whoever does business with them. Unproffessional at its best.
