Poor service from bank tellet Nkazimulo

I went to deposit R500 at capitec for a friend. I only had R200 notes that amounted to R600 so needed R100 change back from the bank. The teller, Nkazimulo told me he has not change and there is just no change anywhere in the bank. I then asked what I am to do and he said to go out and look for change myself and come back.

When I said I really believe it's the bank's responsibility to ensure they have change for me, he said he can't help me. I asked for the manager who sent someone else to go look for change and I was attended to by the same teller when change was found.

When I tried to advise him that his attitude to service is bad, he said I can do what I want, even call Capitec's customer care line to complain. He was telling the other guy in my presence that the manager will not say anything to him because it's breaking banking rules. When I told him it was a bad reflection on him though he once again said I'm entitled to complain if that's how I feel.

I really believe as a bank, they should have been prepared to serve any client, how they all had no change in a branch is shocking. The manager did well to help me but the teller's attitude was appalling.
