I deposited a cheque into my account held at Fnb Florida rd and mike frickel from fnb durban north tried to increase the number off days that it would take to clear, that some how charged my account R500.00 twice over a month ago. I went into my branch and since then R500, 00 was refunded to myself. I enquired as to why only one amount was returned and Mike responded in a care a attitude asking if I would like interest paid with my R500.00 in a rude and unprofessional manner. As a client I have an expectation to be treated with respect and care as per the code of banking practice. I am still R500.00 out off pocket due to mikes action and was offered no indication as when to expect my money returned. I would also expect that as he is a manager he should have made contact and explained his mistake instead of making me, the client do all the running around to try get my money back and then when fingers point to him, be rude and insolent to myself. I have not been given a reference to my complaint.
