Frustrations about incompetency

I was under dept review for 4 years and paid all my debt by December 2012.
I was in contact with a lady Nicolene that was always very helpful and NPDA even owed me money that I overpaid. The money was refunded to me a month later. I have supplied them with all my clearance letters and I was told they will let the credit bu rue know that I'm 'clean'.
Last week I found out that I am after 10 months still blacklisted.
I contacted NPDA and was told I have to supply them with a clearance letter from AFRICAN BANK.
I have never ever dealt with African Bank. All I was told that it must be me as it is on my record and under my ID number. How the does this happen? r
Nicolene dealt with my case and she knew the only bank I owed money to was ABSA Bank and she received my clearance letter for that account.
They only had to clear my name as I paid my debt and produced the proof.
Now after almost 10 months they come with this story about African Bank.
I am very very upset as I say for the last time, I HAVE NEVER EVER DEALT WITH A F R I C A N B A N K EVER.
I hope this get sorted out asap.
