DMC
Need confirmation letter for debt paid up

I ZC Kubheka had loan with Standard Bank with was in arreas (R2424.27) and was handed over to DMC for collection. I received a letter from DMC dated 3 Febrary informing me that the amount will be deducted from my bank account from end of February. THe amount to be deducted was R410. From my calculations it meant that in 6 months my loan will be finished. So this week i tried to enter into a contract with another creditor and i was informed i still owe Standard bank. I called DMC because i noted that in Aug & Sept the amount was not deducted and i concluded that my debt was finished.

So i called DMC and they confirmed that my debt is finished so i requested for a letter stating that my debt is finished. They told it normally takes 5 days to get that letter.

My argument is that why didnt i get the letter 2 months ago. Now im told that i need to wait 5 days. I cannot afford to wait that long.

I NEED THE LETTER. THE SUPPLIERS ARE QUICK TO BLACKLIST YOU BUT WHEN IT COMES TO CLEARING YOUR NAME THEY WAIT UNTIL YOU CALL FOR THAT. WHY CANT THEY DO THAT BEFORE.

VERY UPSET COMPLAINENT!!!
