Rude response to damaged goods

I ordered an iPad replacement screen from Phonextreme which was promptly delivered. However upon removing the item and inspecting it I discovered a crack across the entire screen. I emailed Phonextreme to find out if there was insurance on the screen and received the following reply from Giovanni:

"There is no insurance on lcds and digitizers. If The parcel was damaged you should not have taken it." Full response, nothing omitted.

So buy from them at your own peril - the parts MOST likely to be damaged on an iPad are the ones they don't post with insured delivery. And if you query the damaged item, you are abruptly told you shouldn't have opened the parcel if it looked damaged (which it didn't).

If this is how they treat customers, hopefully they won't be around for long.
