Dear Sir/Madam

My wife has been retrenched since march last year. We have a bond with FNB and were falling behind on our
monthly repayments as I am the only person working in the family. FNB has been harrasing me for payments.
I had explained to them I was facing a financial crises but they refuse to listen. They demanding I pay
75% of arrears which I cannot afford. I offered to pay an amount of R4000 (current) but they want the entire amount.
Accordingly they have advised that current payment will make no difference to them and they are still
prepared to proceed with legal action. A consultant even told me I should't have a house if I can't pay for it! I also
made a suggestion to recapitalise the loan terms for 30 years which they turned down. Would you kindly assist in
this urgent matter in any way possible as FNB has given a deadline till the 30th of January and we most certainly
do not want to lose our home.
