I take it my query is either very complex (not really), or ABSA investigates very slowly. "Shortly" in my language is not 5 working days. I have meanwhile gone to the expense of several phone call and have found that ABSA deducted commission where none was due. Still waiting for the unit purchases to be backdated. But I expect to be contacted when a promise is made. I will think twice before investing with ABSA again, and are actually considering withdrawing the investment already made, although there will probably be some ridiculous penalties.
