They didnt inform me about a loan

Good Day
Im so furious right now I don't even know where to start. 2 months ago I recived a letter of ITC saying im outstanding with an RCS account with 1640. Im the first place I don't even know I had a loan that was due with RCS. I had a loan witch according to me was settled two years ago when they debited the last amout in Feb 2011. Now after phoning up and down sending letters talking to every staff member who never could sort anything out, they discover that I have a loan with them. my question is this. Why did they not fone me or call me or send laywers letter to me? why now I just receive a FINAL DEMAND from ITC administrators?
If I had known that I was in arreas with my account I would have payed them. Why didn't the debit the money from my account like they always did? How can they say I did not make payments when they debit the money. Never had I made cash payment to them. Im beyond furious now!!!
I will pay that outstanding amount but be sure this is not the last time you will hear from me.
