I had a legal matter several months back where I was contacted by attorney requesting payment for a prescribed debt over 3-years old. I contacted Hollard Legal Assist as I have a policy. I provided all the documents requested and I was told they are handling matter. It is now several months later, I was under impression matter was resolved, as I never receive a single follow-up communication of any sort from Hollard or the attorneys. Two days ago to my surprise I received a summons. I emailed the summons to Hollard asking them to explain what was going on and why they let the matter go unattended/unresolved. Nothing unexpected, I never receive a single phone call or email from them. But I do receive a call from Legalwise informing me they are now handling matter. The people at Hollard "being the professionals they are" never send my file to Legalwise, who contacts me for the information. Hollards slogan is "Stay in good hands with Hollard and rest assured knowing you're effectively covered", is just that a worthless catch slogan when you allow unprofessional and inferior customer service to prevail. Hollard deducts premiums like clockwork, if only their service worked the same.
